Peace Through Action Seeks Subject Expert Advisors. Help Plan our Future AmeriCorps Program!

Peace Through Action USA has recently received an award from AmeriCorps, the federal agency for national service and volunteerism, to plan an AmeriCorps program focused on civic engagement and social cohesion.

We are using the funds awarded to retain independent subject experts who will help us build an AmeriCorps program that is excellent, compliant, enduring, and ready to compete for a program grant in fiscal year 2024.

We are pleased to announce the availability of the following independent contractor positions/business contract opportunities:

Accounting and Regulatory Compliance Advisor—to strengthen our money and property management system so that our future AmeriCorps program will meet federal financial management requirements.

AmeriCorps Program Compliance Advisor—to develop our future AmeriCorps program’s management policies and procedures.

AmeriCorps Program Interventions Advisor—to select, develop, and set performance measures of our future AmeriCorps program’s interventions.

AmeriCorps Program Sustainability Advisor—to develop a sustainability plan and materials for communicating our future AmeriCorps program’s impact and ensuring its future.

The project period for these contracts will be June 1, 2023 through March 30, 2024, although advisors’ work may conclude sooner if deliverables are completed beforehand.

Project rates for the contracts will vary as their scopes of work vary.

We welcome sole proprietors, nonprofit corporations, and other business entities to express interest in an advisor position/contract by completing this form. Parties may express interest in one or more of the positions (using the single form) if they believe they are multi-qualified.
