Washington, DC, July 24, 2017—Peace Through Action USA announced that its formation activities had completed and that the organization was ready to begin delivery of its mission programs.
Tracy Doyle, Peace Through Action USA board of directors chair, proclaimed, “This is a great day for our organization and the many people who have worked so hard to make this happen.”
“We have completed hundreds of tasks required to start a new national-scope charitable organization,” said Bob Reeg, founder and chief executive officer. “Among our milestones, we have completed our first organization plan, secured status as a tax-exempt public charity, and put in place a system for receiving and accounting for financial gifts. Peace Through Action USA is ‘open for service’,” declared Reeg.
Also, Peace Through Action USA announced that its website (www.PeaceThroughAction.org) was live and that its social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube) had been activated. Said Reeg, “We invite all who wish to increase peace between people and groups in the United States, as well as those simply curious to learn more about us, to visit our website, follow us on social media, and add themselves to our news blog, Signs of Peace Through Action.”
