What are Unarmed Civilian Protection?
Unarmed Civilian Protection, also called (protective) accompaniment, is a series of methods for the direct protection of civilians, localized violence reduction, and support of local infrastructures for peace. UCP can be deployed to keep peace between opposing parties in mobilizations, protests, and strikes. It can also be deployed to keep peace between civilians and state authorities.
