Postsecondary Organizations and Students
Peace Through Action can help colleges, universities, and other postsecondary organizations prepare students for lifelong leadership through practical peace skills and community action. We can support student affairs divisions, civic engagement centers, service clubs, Greek-letter organizations, career and technical schools, and workforce development programs.
Here are ways we can help postsecondary organizations and students:
Teach peace skills your student leaders can use right away. Our Essential Peace Skills Trainings and Practical Peace Solutions Sessions equip students with practical communication, compassion, and conflict resolution skills they can use on campus and throughout their lives. We can also develop custom practical solutions sessions based on situations students encounter.
Prepare students for life after graduation. Use our Peace Through Action Meet-Ups activity to help students identify personal and social development actions they can take while enrolled and after graduating.
Expand student leadership into the community. Mobilize student leaders or your student body to teach our workshops on compassion, constructive communication, and conflict resolution to their peers and community members.
We have designed our resources so students can confidently present our content to fellow students and community groups. Faculty, staff, and student affairs professionals can also incorporate our resources into leadership development, orientation, civic engagement, and student programming.
We are able to provide our resources without charge (although we welcome contributions) if you choose to deliver our content to your members, volunteers, and communities yourselves. If you prefer Peace Through Action to deliver our content virtually or in-person, we can do that for a fee.

Peace Through Action appreciates all that national service participants do to get things done for their communities and our country.
