Makayla Dukes

Makayla Dukes, of Salisbury Maryland, is a Master of Social Work field placement intern with Peace Through Action USA. Makayla is responsible for assisting in our mission delivery by developing resources on issues of civic and social concern and peace skills instruction.

Makayla brings to this position a strengths-based approach, creative ideas, and organized planning skills. Makayla currently studies Social Work at Salisbury University. Makayla holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Salisbury University.

Makayla is motivated to work for Peace Through Action because she values collaborative peaceful relationships within society. She recognizes the importance of equipping and teaching people with these skills, rather than simply speaking about them. Makayla wants to be a part of actively working with the community to bring them skills to build peaceful relationships.
