Michael Olaiya, of Atlanta, Georgia, is a director of Peace Through Action USA. Michael brings to Peace Through Action a robust set of leadership experiences ranging from corporate management, healthcare administration, and business. Michael serves as a clinical pharmacist at Wal-Mart, Co. Previous positions include adjunct clinical preceptor with Mercer University’s College of Pharmacy, a pre-graduate fellow with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and a pre-graduate intern with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Michael is an active volunteer with the Emerging100 of Atlanta, the American Pharmacist Association, and the American Society of Health-Systems Pharmacists. Michael holds a Doctor of Pharmacy from Xavier University of Louisiana. Michael holds certifications with the American Heart Association, the Georgia Board of Pharmacy, and the Georgia Real Estate Commission.
Michael is motivated to serve Peace Through Action because he believes that by aligning with like-minded individuals sharing the same passion and purpose, we can contribute to the progression of a just, humane and peaceful society, applying peaceful practices and creating peaceful places. As Michael looks to increase peace, bridge differences, and promote social harmony within communities in America, garnering support from stewards within a shared value network will push us that much closer to achieve peace between people and within the communities in the United States by promoting caring actions.
