Hailey Miller

Hailey Miller, of Brooklyn, Maryland, is a Master of Social Work intern with Peace Through Action® USA. Hailey is responsible for supporting the organization’s peacebuilding activities by contributing program research, partnership development, and audience outreach.

Hailey brings to this position a strong background in social work, community health, and harm reduction. Before joining Peace Through Action USA, Hailey completed her undergraduate field placement with the Western Maryland Area Health Education Center (AHEC West) in Cumberland, Maryland. There, she worked primarily at the Possibility Shop, assisting community members with essential needs such as health insurance enrollment, employment and housing applications, and access to communication services. Hailey also participated in the outreach team’s syringe walks and naloxone (Narcan) trainings, promoting safety, connection, and dignity among individuals affected by substance use. Hailey holds a Bachelor of Social Work from Frostburg State University and is currently pursuing a Master of Social Work at Salisbury University with a specialization in social change and leadership.
