About the Event:

Join us on Thursday, September 24, 2026, from 7:00 – 8:30 pm ET for a free 90-minute virtual learning session featuring Peace Through Action USA’s newest activity: Peace Through Action Meet-Ups.

Meet-Ups bring people together for a guided conversation about peace and the changes they would like to see around them. During the session, you’ll experience a Meet-Up firsthand and learn how the activity can help turn a conversation into ideas for action.

We’ll spend time talking with one another, reflecting on what peace looks like in our everyday lives, and identifying things we can do in response. You’ll have time to develop your own action plan and leave with specific steps you can take.

During the session, you will:

• Experience a Peace Through Action Meet-Up firsthand.
• Learn how Meet-Ups work and how to host one.
• Take part in a guided conversation about peace and your community.
• Identify things you can do to increase peace in your own life and community.
• Create a personal action plan with specific next steps.

This session is an opportunity to try out a new Peace Through Action activity, and leave with a plan for putting your ideas into action.
