Garrett Lloyd, of Atlanta, GA, is the director of mission promotion and programs dissemination with Peace Through Action® USA. Garrett is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring plans and activities that increase awareness of Peace Through Action and participation and support for its programs.
Garrett brings to this position significant experience leading marketing and communications for nonprofit organizations.
Prior to joining Peace Through Action® USA, Garrett served as marketing and design consultant for nonprofit organizations across sectors such as housing, community development, and youth services. Previous positions include digital media manager at The Community Builders, media manager at Scholar Athletes, and head of marketing & communications at Audeliss. Garrett holds bachelor’s degrees in marketing and in communication media from University of Massachusetts, Boston.
Garrett is motivated to work for Peace Through Action because “having grown up in a city plagued by violence and crime, I deeply identify with the mission to bring programs and resources to achieve peace in our communities. I have seen firsthand the impact peace-focused and conflict resolution efforts can bring to a community.”
