About the Event:

On Tuesday, May 28th, from 7:00 – 8:00 pm ET, Peace Through Action USA hosted a no-cost free virtual learning event titled “Media Masterclass: Tools for Navigating Today’s Digital Age.” This event focused on media literacy and navigating the news in today’s complex information landscape. As we approached critical election seasons, it was essential to equip participants with the vital skills that contribute to a well-informed and unified society. This workshop provided participants with practical strategies to distinguish credible sources from misinformation, cultivate critical thinking, and engage in more informed discussions. Through interactive conversations, we provided actionable tools that empowered attendees to become more discerning consumers of news and media. This timely and important workshop helped attendees initiate more thoughtful political discourse. Together, we cultivated a more media-literate society, where individuals were equipped to identify fact from fiction and participate meaningfully in shaping our collective future.
