About the Event:
Join us on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 7:00 – 8:30 pm ET for a free virtual event titled “Navigating Conflict in Relationships You Can’t Walk Away From”
Some of the hardest conflicts in life happen in relationships that matter most to us. Whether you’re dealing with a family member, a coworker, a neighbor, or someone else you care about, there are moments when you simply can’t – or don’t want to – step back. In those situations, the goal shifts from avoiding conflict to finding ways to move through it with clarity and care.
During this 90-minute virtual session, we will explore practical peace skills for navigating conflict in ongoing relationships. Through reflection, guided activities, and small-group conversation, we will consider how communication patterns, emotional responses, and differing perspectives shape conflict. We will practice strategies to de-escalate tense moments, set compassionate boundaries, and listen in ways that strengthen understanding and connection.

Participants will:
• Identify how conflict develops in personal, workplace, and community relationships and learn ways to repair strain.
• Practice three core peace skills and identify how each strategy can shift the tone of difficult conversations.
• Learn tools to stay centered during tense moments and express needs with clarity and respect.
• Work with peers to apply these skills to real situations and explore approaches that build steadiness, understanding, and connection.
If you are navigating tension at home, at work, or in your community, this session offers space to reflect, gain perspective, and build skills to approach challenging moments with more confidence, calm, and compassion.
