Dan Lebo | Peace Through Action USA

Dan Lebo, of Lebanon, PA, is a director of Peace Through Action USA. Dan brings 16 years of community and non-profit leadership experience in faith communities and higher education to this mission leadership position.  Dan works as the Director of Leadership and Organizational Management at Eastern Mennonite University. Previous positions include Lead Pastor with Gravel Hill United Methodist Church (Palmyra, PA), Chaplain/Coordinator of Spiritual Life with Lebanon Valley College, and Managing Director with Innabah Camp and Retreat Center (Spring City, PA). Dan is an active volunteer with Gretna Glen Camp and Retreat Center and the Nonprofit Leadership Alliance. Dan holds a PhD in Organizational Leadership from Alvernia University and a Master of Divinity from Palmer Theological Seminary. Dan is an Advanced Certified Nonprofit Professional (ACNP) and is an Ordained Elder in the United Methodist Church.

Dan is motivated to serve Peace Through Action because he believes that peace is not simply the absence of conflict but the presence of justice. He believes in empowering local communities to be a part of the peacemaking process and promoting leadership for social change. Equipping diverse communities to implement practical peaceful solutions to their local context is an effective way to address aggression and violence in local communities and our country. Dan is excited to collaborate with individuals who share a commitment to peacemaking between people and within communities.
